General Manager - Products & Services Rob Vernon appointed CEO
TasmaNet today announced the resignation of Elizabeth Aris and the appointment of her successor, Rob Vernon as Chief Executive Officer.
Mr Vernon has been TasmaNet General Manager - Products & Services since 2018 following TasmaNet’s acquisition of Managed Service Provider, 41st Degree Software. Mr Vernon was one of the founders and CEO of 41st.
TasmaNet Chairman Terry Winters said that the Board was pleased to be able to make this appointment from within the experienced TasmaNet Executive team.
“Rob is familiar with every aspect of the TasmaNet business and all of our key customers,” Mr Winters said.
“His senior leadership role in the development of an end-to-end portfolio of products and services enables TasmaNet to work strategically with its customers to meet their evolving needs.

Mr Winters thanked Ms Aris for her contribution to the company.

“TasmaNet is an accredited provider to the New South Wales and Tasmanian Governments, and continues to be a leading provider of transformational nbn Enterprise Ethernet fibre connectivity.
“The Board extends its thanks to Elizabeth who leaves TasmaNet well positioned to continue its national expansion, capitalising on a proven expertise connecting schools, business, and government customers using superfast nbn Enterprise Ethernet fibre, and helping them adopt the cloud and security services they need to thrive in the digital economy,” Mr Winters said.
